After 7.5million people tuned in to watch the series finale of the BBC’s Happy Valley, there are calls for the show, and its cast, to win Baftas this year.

Social media has been awash with praise for the show, which appears to have given its fans a satisfactory conclusion.

It follows almost a decade of high-stake plots, dramatic cliff-hangers and intense scenes since the series began in 2014.
