Tom Cruise has reportedly split from his Russian socialite girlfriend Elsina Khayrova, just days after he allegedly met her children. The Mission Impossible star, 61, and the 36-year-old, who is the ex-wife of oligarch Dimitry Tsvetkov, are believed to have first met last December at a party in Mayfair.

They were first spotted together in public in February and attended a gala dinner in support of London's Air Ambulance Charity, although they arrived separately.

However it wasn’t meant to be as a new report has claimed that they have parted ways amicably.

According to The Sun US, the relationship simply "ran its course" and the two will remain friends as they both live in the same London apartment building.

The source said: "To end things on a bad note would have been awkward if they’d bumped into each other in the lift.

“There are no hard feelings between them and for Tom, their relationship simply ran its course."

Reports of their split comes shortly after Cruise met Khayrova’s son and daughter, from her previous marriage to Tsvetkov, as reported by Page Six.

The Top Gun star also has three children from prior marriages. He adopted Isabella and son Connor in 1992 and 1995, respectively, with his former spouse, Nicole Kidman. Additionally, he has a daughter named Suri, aged 17, from his past marriage to Katie Holmes.

The Standard has contacted Tom Cruise’s rep for comment.

Elsewhere, Cruise signed a new deal last month with Warner Bros Discovery to develop, produce and star in original and franchise theatrical films in 2024.

The collaboration marks a return to Warner Bros for Cruise, whose films with the studio include 2014’s Edge Of Tomorrow with Emily Blunt, Rock Of Ages, released in 2012 alongside Russell Brand, and 1999’s Eyes Wide Shut with Nicole Kidman.

The announcement said Top Gun star Cruise and his production company will have offices on the Warner Bros Discovery lot in Burbank, California.

“I have great respect and admiration for David, Pam, Mike, and the entire team at Warner Bros Discovery and their commitment to movies, movie fans, and the theatrical experience,” Cruise said.

“I look forward to making great movies together.”
