One month from today (June 4), the public will be casting their votes for their preferred party to lead the country.

In the run-up to the general election, Reform UK have announced their comeback and belittled the Conservatives for their handling of immigration.

Hoping to still stay in power, the Conservatives proposed an annual cap on worker and family visas to tackle immigration. The Tories have also pledged to replace some university programmes in England with 100,000 apprenticeships annually. Also, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak revealed his plan to raise the income tax threshold for pensioners.

On the other side of the political spectrum, the Labour party claimed they would not be increasing income and National Insurance and promised to meet their goal of having the majority of NHS patients in England begin treatment within 18 weeks in five years.

Meanwhile, Sky News has confirmed that Labour's National Executive Committee is finalising the party's list of candidates for the general election, and Diane Abbott has made the cut. Ms Abbott has been selected for Hackney North and Stoke Newington.

In addition, Angela Rayner was given the all-clear after a Greater Manchester Police inquiry looked into prosecuting her over the sale of her council house in 2015.

But who are the current members of Cabinet for both the Conservatives and Labour party?
