Love Island star Adam Collard finally covered up his tattoo tribute to Zara McDermott during a holiday in Los Angeles.

Collard stunned fans when he showed off his new “Z” inking just weeks after getting together with McDermott.

But now, it seems Collard is finally ready to remove his special tattoo months after breaking up with McDermott back in February.

His Love Island co-star Wes Nelson revealed Collard was getting his ink altered on his Instagram stories during their recent trip to LA.

“What’s going on here Adam?” Nelson teased as he followed Collard into a tattoo parlour before showing off his inked hand now emblazoned with the letters NIN.

Nelson then tilted the camera back and forth to show the former “Z” marking as he seemed to realise what Collard was doing.

McDermott told fans she was “heartbroken” when she announced the pair’s split earlier this year, after eight months together.

“I am heartbroken to announce that Adam and I have parted ways,” she wrote in an emotional Instagram statement.

“I love him very much and will always have a special place in my heart for him and our time spent together. I have tried so hard to be the best person I can possibly be and to make it work.

“Sometimes in life, you just aren’t enough for someone; no matter what you do for them or how much you try to be.”

She finished by saying that she “wasn’t sure she was okay” before signing off with a heart.

“We’re not a couple,” he explained. “It’s hard. It just ran its course.”
