Stacey Solomon has admitted that her and Joe Swash have found out the sex of their unborn child but have vowed to keep it a secret.

The Loose Women panellist, who revealed she is expecting her first child with Swash in February, confessed that the pair were too excited to wait for the birth.

“We found out, we’re really impatient!” Solomon told OK! Online. “We’re not going to tell anyone because it’s not important, but we are excited.”

Solomon added that it was “nice to have something only they and the kids knew” as well as being able to “get prepared” for the impending arrival.

Her comments come a week after Coleen Nolan appeared to let slip that the couple are expecting a baby girl.

“She... That child is going to have so many aunties she won't know what to do with herself,” said Nolan.

Solomon, 29, and Swash, 37, revealed they are expecting their first child together earlier this year in a series of sweet posts on social media.

Since announcing the happy news, Solomon has kept fans up-to-date with her pregnancy, showing off her blossoming baby bump and talking about her cravings as she continues to work on Loose Women and Celebrity Juice.

Solomon and Swash are already parents to Solomon’s sons Zachary, 11, and Leighton, six. Swash has a son Harry, 11, from a previous relationship. They began dating in 2016.
