Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them fans will be treated to a sneak peek of the eagerly anticipated film at a Q&A in London.

Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterson, Dan Fogler and Alison Sudol will be on hand in Leicester Square tonight to answer questions about the Harry Potter spin-off for a live event that will be streamed worldwide.

They will also be joined by director David Yates, while their co-stars Colin Farrel and Jon Voight will be on hand from Los Angeles.

Watch the live event here from 8:30pm:

Fantastic Beasts is set around 70 years before Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger attend Hogwarts - and long before Professor Dumbledore takes over as headmaster.

It follows Newt Scamander (Redmayne) as he time travels and documents the unusual creatures he comes across in his book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Tonight’s event comes days after fans were treated to the full-length trailer which showed Scamander fighting to save his magical creatures.

The magizoologist appears to face a full-on war with the ‘no-maj’ community as his arrives in 1920s New York City.

Producers recently confirmed a sequel which will be much "darker".

Yates also teased the return of some much loved characters from the original Harry Potter series.

"There is a mention of some characters that we know and love from previous movies, but we only talk about them fleetingly," he told Reuters.

"In the next movie, part two, we'll get to meet one of them in a significant way. He's much younger than he used to be, but he'll be coming back."

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set for UK cinema release on November 18.
