Standard Sport rates the performances in this evening's Champions League clash at Emirates Stadium.
ARSENAL (4-2-3-1)
Wojciech Szczesny 6: Never stretched in either half and was able to watch his team dominate the game and then maintain control.
Bacary Sagna 7: Excellent attacking option at right-back as Arsenal threatened to overwhelm Napoli before the break.
Per Mertesacker 6: Contained Pandev with ease. He would surely have had a far tougher time against Gonzalo Higuain, had the Argentinian been fit.
Laurent Koscielny 6: With Higuain injured and Napoli’s playmakers having an off-night, the France centre-back enjoyed a quiet evening.
Kieran Gibbs 6: Lent solid support to Arsenal’s attacks but was occasionally troubled by Insigne when the Italian switched to the right.
Mathieu Flamini 7: Tough and shrewd, Flamini’s donkey work allowed his more creative team-mates to play and prevented Napoli’s midfield from getting going.
Mikel Arteta 7: Clever work on his first start of the campaign as he and Flamini held sway over Behrami and Inler in the centre.
Aaron Ramsey 8: Continued his fine start to the season. Linked superbly with Ozil and was constant source of invention, taking up numerous intelligent positions.
Substitute: Nacho Monreal (88 mins) 6: Brought on to run down the clock.
Mesut Ozil 9: Brilliant goal, outstanding awareness and fabulous skill. Ozil scored the first, set up the second and ran Napoli ragged. Could he make the difference for Arsenal this season?

Tomas Rosicky 7: Quieter than Ozil and Ramsey but still provided an important contribution to the attacking effort with smart movement and passing.
Substitute:Jack Wilshere (63 mins) 6: Napoli’s need to push forward gave the England man plenty of space on the counter.
Olivier Giroud 8: Played a key part in the first goal with a clever flick for Ramsey and was in the right place to tap in Ozil’s cross for the second. Starting to look a fine centre-forward.
NAPOLI (4-2-3-1)
Pepe Reina 6: Comprehensively beaten for both goals and rarely looked certain when dealing with high crosses but made one super save from Koscielny.
Giandomenico Mesto 5: Most of the threat came from the opposite flank yet he still looked uncomfortable when Rosicky and Gibbs ran at him. Poor distribution.
Raul Albiol 5: Very ponderous for Arsenal’s second but redeemed himself slightly with a couple of important blocks in the first half.
Substitute: Federico Fernandez (83 mins) 6: A handful of minutes.
Miguel Britos 4: Outwitted by Giroud for the first goal and nowhere to be seen for the second. A difficult evening.
Camilo Zuniga 6: Sporadic attacking threat on the left offset by careless defensive and positional work in the first half.
Valon Behrami 5: He looked slow and sluggish and was too often bypassed by the Arsenal midfield
Gokhan Inler 5: Usually the engine of this side, the Swiss spent most of his time chasing Arsenal’s creators.
Jose Callejon 5: Struggled to maintain his fine early season form for his new club. Ineffective on both flanks.
Substitute: Duvan Zapata (77 mins) 6: Not long enough to make an impact.
Marek Hamsik 5: Identified by Arsene Wenger as his team’s main threat but the Slovak could not live up to that billing.
Lorenzo Insigne 5: One of the brightest talents in Italy flickered occasionally but made poor decisions in possession.
Goran Pandev 5: Received very little service and what he had he failed to make use of.
Substitute: Dries Mertens (61 mins) 6: Lively. One turn and run ended with a blocked shot.
